ABOUT ME
Madeleine was born into a family of musicians and spent her early childhood in Nuremberg Germany where her Father played in the Philharmonic Orchestra. At the age of seven she moved to the South Coast of England and in her late teens came to London to study Acting at East 15 Acting School, which was founded by avant-garde theatre practitioner Joan Littlewood.
Having both British and American citizenship Madeleine has worked extensively in theatre nationally and internationally including Theatre Royal Bath, The Garrick (West End), B.A.M (New York) and the McCarter Theatre in Princeton. She also spent a number of years touring with the Peter Hall Company and has made many trips back to Germany to work at Hamburg's English Theatre. Memorable roles include, Sorel in HAY FEVER, Gloria in YOU NEVER CAN TELL, Steph in REASONS TO BE PRETTY, Vivie in MRS.WARREN'S PROFESSION, Olivia in STONE COLD MURDER, Jemma in DON'T LOSE THE PLACE and Gretchen in BOEING BOEING.

ACTING COACH
Madeleine teaches a regular class at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop. She has also taught extensively at the Rose Theatre in Kingston and Park Theatre in North London. Most recently she has been coaching young actors at East 15 Acting School. Body, breath and instinctual movement encompass her teaching with the emphasis on real feeling, not right feeling.

CREATIVE FLOW
Madeleine teaches yoga for creativity. Encouraging students to develop presence and awareness through instinctual movement, play and embodiment. Focussing on opening creative centres and feeling into vinyasa to connect to our innate wisdom. Classes incorporate journalling and other off road creative aspects.
